SYFD has a new  burn permit program. Burn permits will be created on the website listed below. Once created, you can either log on to activate/deactivate or call 855-441-1001 to do the same. The phone option only works once a permit has been created. There is no charge for a burn permit and they are good for the calendar year. Please make sure you read the website completely.

Your fire may only be five 5’ x 5’  anything larger must be approved by SYFD.  Please have a copy of your burn permit available when burning.
